Installation - What to Expect
Filter Replacement & Fitting
Having chosen and installed a water filter which meets your needs the one thing you will need to remember to do is fit replacement cartridges. Cartridges need to be changed after a certain volume of water or within a certain timeframe, regular filter changes ensure your system is able to continue to remove any contaminants you are concerned about as well as keeping your water tasting great.
Once you know how, fitting a cartridge is quite straightforward although this is a service that we offer, and many of our customers like us to do for them.
What's Included in Our Filter Service
We will simply book an appointment with you, to suit your diary. One of our engineers will bring the filter with them, fit it for you and if you wish talk you through how to do it yourself for the next time it needs replacing.
Signs you might need to replace your filter
- If you have a system fitted with us we will typically email you when a replacement is due
- You notice a change in the taste of your water
- You can smell chlorine again
- Your filter cartridge looks visibly discoloured (if you can see it)
- You’re noticing sediment or cloudiness in the water coming from your drinking tap
