Our Story
Southern Softflow was founded in 2000 by Keith, who started the business from his home with a simple mission: to provide honest, reliable water softener services to homeowners across the South of England.
In 2019, Keith's son Ben joined the family business, bringing fresh ideas and energy while maintaining the core values that made Southern Softflow successful. Together, they've grown the company while never losing sight of what matters most – their customers.
In 2021, we moved to our new, purpose-built facility in Three Legged Cross near Wimborne, allowing us to better serve our growing customer base with improved stock capacity and faster delivery times.

Southern Softflow Began
Keith started Southern Softflow from home in 2000 and has built a business based on offering straightforward and honest advice, focusing on long-standing customer relationships.
The Team Continued to Grow
In 2019 Keith was joined by his son Ben. The team has continued to grow since then, but the emphasis on personable service remains central to everyone at Southern Softflow.

The friendly faces behind Southern Softflow
Keith
FounderThe man that started it all. Many of our customers have been with us from the very beginning and are testament to his ethos for customer service. He enjoys time with his four grandchildren and follows Wimborne Town FC.
Ben
DirectorBen decided to leave his finance career in London and join Keith in 2019. He now oversees the day to day running of the business. He has two young children and enjoys walks in Wareham forest with family and dog, plus golf when available.
Will
PlumberWill joined us earlier this year having worked as an installer for Harvey Water Softeners for 4 years. He is a Saints fan and enjoys running in his spare time.
Edith
Office ManagerEdith is a passionate member of our office team. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending her time outdoors with her husband, their 4 children and their dog. She also loves baking, gardening, sewing, and knitting.
Dave
DeliveriesThe friendly face of water softener salt deliveries, David never shirks at going the extra mile when delivering in a polite and friendly manner. His tan reflects his love for getaways with family and friends.
Juliet
Sales & MarketingAfter more than a decade in sales for a famous Beans and Ketchup company, Juliet decided to join another (if not smaller) company that brings joy to people's homes. She spends weekends on the beach or in forests with children and dog.
Alison
Office SupportAnother member of the Martin family who supports Edith in the office. When not in the office, she can be found walking and conquering mountains - she summited Snowdon in 2 hours, or at her local brewery on a Friday night.
Donna
Office AdministratorDonna covers the office on Saturdays and over holidays. She is the quizmaster general and a lifelong Black Cats supporter.
